This notice applies to the Kislev Attorneys website, the public-facing brand of Anthony Airewele & Co. (Kislev Chambers). It is intended to be read with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDP Act) and the NDPC’s General Application and Implementation Directive 2025 (GAID).
1. Who controls your information?
For inquiries made through this website, the data controller is Anthony Airewele & Co. (Kislev Chambers), operating publicly as Kislev Attorneys. The firm’s office is at 99 Obafemi Awolowo Way, Ikeja Lagos. You can contact the firm at kislevlawfirm@gmail.com or +234 803 331 4358 about this notice or your personal information.
2. Information and why it is used
The contact form asks for your name, phone number, optional email address, inquiry type and message. The careers form asks for your name, phone number, optional email address, area of interest and message. The firm uses information you choose to send to understand and respond to your inquiry, assess whether it can assist, and discuss possible next steps. The form is not intended to collect sensitive personal data. Please do not include confidential case details, identity documents or sensitive information in an initial inquiry.
3. Lawful basis
Under section 25(1)(b)(i) of the NDP Act, the firm processes the information needed to respond to an inquiry and take steps you request before a possible legal-services or employment engagement. If a separate legal obligation applies, the firm may process or retain the minimum information needed to meet it. Information is limited to what is reasonably relevant to the inquiry.
4. Contact and careers forms
The forms run in your browser; they do not submit information to a Kislev Attorneys website database. If you choose “Continue to WhatsApp”, your form details are included in a prefilled link sent to WhatsApp to open a conversation. WhatsApp receives that link and its contents even if you later decide not to send the message. The firm receives the inquiry when you choose to send it in WhatsApp. You can edit or close the message first. WhatsApp is operated separately and handles information under its own Privacy Policy . You may also contact the firm by phone or email instead.
5. Other providers and browser storage
The contact page loads an embedded Google Map. When it loads, Google may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details; Google’s Privacy Policy explains its practices. The website host may process technical request and security logs to deliver and protect the site. The site itself does not use analytics or advertising trackers. It stores your selected colour theme and the position of the movable WhatsApp button in your browser’s local storage so those preferences persist on your device. The site does not use those settings to identify you or make decisions about you.
6. Recipients and transfers
Information may be available to authorised firm personnel who handle inquiries and to service providers needed to operate the site or the services you choose to use, including the website host, WhatsApp and Google Maps. Those providers may process information outside Nigeria. The firm will handle any transfer for which it is responsible in accordance with Part VIII of the NDP Act and applicable NDPC rules. The providers’ own privacy notices explain their separate processing.
7. Retention and security
The firm keeps an initial inquiry only while it is needed to respond, complete follow-up and maintain an appropriate record. If the inquiry becomes a client or recruitment matter, related information may be kept with that file for as long as needed for the matter, applicable legal or professional obligations, or the establishment or defence of legal claims. If no matter proceeds, the firm will delete or anonymise the inquiry when it is no longer needed for those purposes, subject to any applicable legal obligation. WhatsApp messages and copies on devices or backups are also subject to WhatsApp’s and the users’ own retention settings. The firm uses appropriate safeguards and limits access to people who need the information for these purposes.
8. Your rights and complaints
Subject to the NDP Act and any applicable exceptions, you may ask to know whether the firm processes your personal data and request access to it, correction, erasure or restriction. You may object to processing, withdraw consent where consent is the basis, and exercise other rights available under Part VI, including rights relating to automated decisions and data portability where applicable. This website does not make decisions about you solely by automated means. To make a request, email kislevlawfirm@gmail.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. The firm may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission .
9. Changes and questions
The firm may update this notice when the website or its information-handling practices change. The version published here applies from its update date above. Contact kislevlawfirm@gmail.com with questions or privacy requests.
